Royal Ascot
I was lucky enough to visit Royal Ascot on the 20th June which was Ladies' Day. I left for Ascot at around 8am with my Mum and Auntie and we took a 3 hour coach to Berkshire. We all felt very odd waiting at the bus stop in our Ascot attire (hats included).
The horse racing only made up a very small part of the day. We arrived at 11am and the racing did not start until 2.30pm. The Silver Ring was made up of lots of bars, stalls and food outlets.
It was so lovely to see so many people make an effort with the formal dress code. There was such a variety in outfit styles, littered with the occasional fashion faux pas.
This was my first time betting, in Race 1 my horse won! In the second race my horse came 2nd. After that my beginners luck diminished...
For the day I decided to wear my black jumpsuit with a lace blazer. I also went with felt hat as I struggled to find an inexpensive fascinator that I loved.

Photo walk
Revision has been a huge part of my life recently, I am now on the home straight. 5 more exams in the next 2 weeks then I am finished A-levels forever. Anthony came over for tea as a break from my revision and we took my SLR camera out for a walk as it has been gathering dust. All pictures were taken using a 50mm f/1.8 lens. I can't wait for summer I have almost 3 months of adventures to plan with my wonderful friends who have been neglected during exam season. Just praying for sunshine now! (Look away if you hate mushy couple photos...)

Coeliac Awareness Week
Last week was Coeliac Awareness Week. Coeliac is a disease which involves intolerance to Gluten, Wheat, Barley and Rye. In Coeliacs eating gluten can damage the villi on the lining of the small intestine and result in serious immune response. Symptoms include infertility, rash, hair loss, ulcers and stomach pains. My Mother and I went on a Coeliac diet for this awareness week and I realised how difficult it must be to have an intolerance you have to be incredibly careful about your food choices. Special free-from food are also rather expensive and when eating out your meal choices are very narrow. I attempted to keep a food diary via Instagram of my eating habits throughout the week.
At the end of it I felt a lot healthier and my skin was really good, I stayed away from a lot of bad snacks for fear of what they contained!
Last Week
This week is my last week at secondary school, ever. After 7 years it has been really scary. We have been dressing up all week everyone has made an effort it has been brilliant.
Monday: Blast from the Past
Tuesday: Famous Faces
Wednesday: Uniform
Thursday: Nationalities
Friday: Animal Kingdom
The themes are awesome! Here is my costume from Wednesday. It is Anthony's old cadet uniform...
Also, I recently dip dyed my hair pink. It is super exciting. I have been so absent recently, it's exam season once more....

Cherry Coke and a Catchup!
After 2 weeks of almost non-stop revision. We managed to reunite the awesome foursome after months. I visited the Riverview Diner with Sarita, Vicki and Jess. It is a gorgeous 1940s style automobile diner where we like to catch up!!
I had a cheeky hotdog and chips (the diet starts tomorrow...) followed my a chocolate ice cream sundae that I shared with Jess. The diner is so picturesque, I couldn't resist taking my SLR out for the first time in a while.
